Winnie’s Story

It was during 1997 Asian Financial Crisis that I made the bold move to join the Insurance Industry. There was no looking back ever since. I faced many obstacles transiting from Banker to Advisor and I am grateful for supportive clients who have given me the opportunity to partner with them in their financial planning journey. I embrace life with an attitude of excellence and firmly believe that success is by design. Other than the mentors who have guided me, I am thankful for the many veterans ahead of me who have penned down their greatest lessons in books – which has brought me to where I am today. My dream eventually is to write and publish my own book.

Kevin’s Story

I was formerly a Guards Officer before I made a career switch in 1995 to become an AIA FSC. In my 24 years with AIA, I qualified for many prestigious awards, such as Life and Qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table. Moving on to Agency Management in 2015, I am now also involved in recruitment training and performance management. I personally embrace the philosophy of work-life harmony. An FSC should not only commit to serving his clients, but take care of his family and serve the nation too. Personally, I love talking about life with my son outside of work hours, and playing a game of golf with my friends and clients as a form of exercise.

Francesco’s Story

I was formerly a self-employed franchisor and retailer at outlets in Singapore and China. As a mother of two, however, I wanted to spend more time with my family in Singapore. I saw how my husband, as a Financial Services Associate Director at Win Financial, had helped many clients over his fifteen years in the industry. As such, I decided to join the team and become an FSC too. When I presented a claim cheque to a single mother who had breast cancer during her treatment period, I saw how meaningful my job can be – life is unpredictable, and everyone should have a Financial Advisor who is compassionate and willing to accompany them in their financial planning journey.

I love travelling because I get to learn important life lessons from the people that I meet, and the insurance business provides just the avenue for me to do so. Having been in the insurance industry, helping clients tie through claims and their challenges in life, my conviction is this: insurance can change lives, and I can change lives. I acknowledge that being a competent and dedicated consultant to my clients demands great commitment, but it is definitely satisfying to live up to their expectations! As clients become friends and friends become clients, it empowers me to stay in touch with them and walk through life together as we often meet up for reviews on a yearly basis.
