Dovanson’s Story

I was an undergraduate when I first joined AIA as an FSC as a way of earning extra allowance. However, over the years, I found a sense of belonging to Win Financial and a burning passion for the career. Upon graduation, I was offered to work in Australia to join my father in a Japanese Engineering MNC, which I turned down after much consideration. I had witnessed sufferings that a family would go through without proper financial planning, but more often than not, this realization comes too late for many, and the price to pay becomes too high. Therefore, it has since then been my plan to educate as many people as possible on the importance of having proper financial planning.

Kevin’s Story

I was formerly a Guards Officer before I made a career switch in 1995 to become an AIA FSC. In my 24 years with AIA, I qualified for many prestigious awards, such as Life and Qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table. Moving on to Agency Management in 2015, I am now also involved in recruitment training and performance management. I personally embrace the philosophy of work-life harmony. An FSC should not only commit to serving his clients, but take care of his family and serve the nation too. Personally, I love talking about life with my son outside of work hours, and playing a game of golf with my friends and clients as a form of exercise.

The opportunity to venture into this career presented itself from an introduction by a mutual friend. Despite being initially sceptical, what drew me to this line of work eventually was my interest in personal finance and the entrepreneurial nature of my work. I love travelling because I get to learn important life lessons from the people that I meet, and the insurance business provides just the avenue for me to do so. Having been in the insurance industry, helping clients tie through claims and their challenges in life, my conviction is this: insurance can change lives, and I can change lives. I acknowledge that being a competent and dedicated consultant to my clients demands great commitment, but it is definitely satisfying to live up to their expectations!
