Win Financial Group is a Team of Financial Services Consultants representing AIA Singapore. We come from various backgrounds and professions with a goal to make a difference in people’s lives through sound financial planning. Our Group has made remarkable achievements over the past years and attained AIA Pinnacle Club consecutively ever since our establishment. Amongst our many accolades, the significant and most recent ones are:

OUR HISTORY
From a humble team of 8 Financial Services Consultants, our team grew to a size of more than 100 consultants and she has since groomed more than 10 managers under her leadership. 3 of her managers have spun off to run their own districts.
Win Financial Group prides ourselves in being an agency that has successfully groomed the highest number of producers (more than 70%) through our Undergraduate Program. As part of giving back to our Founder’s Alma Mater, our founder contributed 1 Scholarship and 1 Bursary to NUS Business School in 2017. In 2019, our founder also contributed a bursary to NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

Our Founder’s Story
Equipped with a Business Degree from National University of Singapore (NUS), Winnie embarked on a career in Banking right after graduation in 1992. Being driven in nature, Winnie was gradually dissatisfied with her capacity as an employee. Not only was she inequitably compensated with the long hours she put in, she had to struggle with ‘politics’ in the corporate environment. In 1997, through the introduction of her husband who was her manager then, she embarked on a career in insurance.
With a philosophy of excellence in everything she does, Winnie started her career in insurance with long hours of work and a keen attitude to learn and improve. Winnie always had a heart for people and with the attitude to serve the people around her, the business slowly became her second nature. In her early days as a financial services consultant, Winnie was a consistent qualifier of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an exclusive membership for top 5% of Financial Services Practitioners around the world.
Winnie applied for management in 2001 and founded SP-WIN (now Win Financial Group). Over the years, Winnie’s philosophy centres round influencing and developing people to take charge of their lives. She sees great fulfilment in transforming ordinary individuals into successful consultants who achieved great success in both their career and family. To help each and every team member optimise his/ her potential, Winnie developed a proven system for Supervision, Training, Activity Management and Recognition (STAR) which has developed many quality producers and MDRT qualifiers.
As a team, Win Financial Group achieved many top honours in AIA. Shared vision and empowerment motivate the team. Riding on the exponential power of interdependence, every member of the group is given specific responsibilities to grow himself/herself as well as to bring the team to scale greater heights in the business. Winnie advocates Continual Education to her team. Leading by example, Winnie attained her Diploma in Life Insurance prior to her appointment as Agency Manager in 2001. She went on to pursue her Certified Financial Planner (CFPCM) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) to enhance her knowledge in full facet of financial planning. To assist her in recruitment, selection and training, Winnie is also a Certified DiSC Practitioner and Enneagram Coach.
Winnie attributes her achievements to her “average” family background. While in junior college, Winnie’s father who was the sole breadwinner, passed away suddenly due to brain haemorrhage. This did not deter Winnie from pursuing her degree. She paid her fees through giving tuition and taking up weekend jobs. Not having any pocket money, Winnie had to skip meals and avoid social activities organised by her course mates. All these challenges helped Winnie build her character and shaped her determination to attain a better quality of life after her graduation.
Winnie is a sought after speaker in AIA and she has also been invited to speak in AIA offices in Malaysia, Brunei and Vietnam. Family wise, Winnie is married with 3 children and her husband is also a Manager in her team. Winnie enjoys hobbies like running, music, reading and movies.
A firm believer in paying it forward, Winnie volunteered her time to the NUS Business School Alumni (NUSBSA) Bizad Charity Run in 2017 to head the Fundraising and Sponsorships Committee and raise donations for the less fortunate. She also volunteered as an Internship Supervisor with the NUSBSA and contributed as a grassroots leader in her estate, organizing events for residents to bond and interact.
Over and above, Winnie established the Win Advisors Bursary and Scholarship in NUS Business School. In 2018, she donated another bursary to NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (NUS FASS).
